Council Agendas 2008: Public Hearing - November 20

The City Council will hold a public hearing on November 20 beginning at 6pm on a number of code amendments.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Holladay City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 20, 2008, as close to 6:00 pm. as possible, in the Holladay City Council Chambers, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay UT. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following amendments to the City of Holladay Zoning Ordinance:

 1) Section 13.76.600 “Street Tree Protection” amend existing ordinance to specify tree removal and planting guidelines on public and private property, including guidelines on the creation and procedures of a community Tree Board.

2) Creating regulations for classifying lots where dwellings are built over property lines and requiring the subdiving of such property

3) Section 13.14.070 (B) (2b) “Graduated Height” to reduce the allowed height of gable ends.

4) Section 13.14.070 (B) (1b) amending the method for calculating the building corridor.

5) Section 13.14.080 “Lot Coverage” to include purpose statement, definitions for “impervious surface” and “permeable paving”.

The proposal is available for public inspection on the City’s website, www.cityofholladay.com or during regular business hours at the Holladay City offices, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay, Utah, 84117.
