General Job Summary:  Under direction of the City Manager, performs a wide variety of highly responsible, complex and diverse advanced level professional duties involved in providing administrative, analytical and technical support to the City Manager; coordinates assigned activities with City departments, outside agencies, and the general public, and provides information and assistance to internal and external customers. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration or a closely related field.  Master’s Degree in Public Administration preferred. 

 AND

 Two to three (2-3) years of progressively responsible experience in the public sector

 OR

 An equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

SALARY:

Exempt Position (Grade 52) $24.04 – $30.10 per hour starting range D.O.Q
