  1. 10:00 AM Toronto Rear Yard Variance – 4130 S Morningstar Dr

Owners of property at 4130 S Morningstar Drive are requesting a variance from Chart 13.14.053 Single Family Rear Yard Setback rules, in order construct a new single family residential home. The allowed rear yard setback is 22 feet with a minimum setback of 18 feet. The applicant is requesting a rear yard average of 27 feet with a minimum setback of 14 feet. 

  1. 11:00 AM Thompson Fence Variance

The applicant proposes to increase the height of the wall located along the property’s front yard from the allowed 6 foot wall to a proposed 7 foot wall resulting in a 1 foot height variance. City ordinances allow a six foot (6′) fence may be allowed in the front setback area when directly abutting 5600 south. 

  1. 11:30 AM Larson Fence Variance – 2685 Providence Crt

Owners of property at 2685 Providence Court are requesting a variance from Section 13.76.710 to construct an eight foot fence along their rear and side property line. City Ordinances limit the maximum height of any fence in the rear or side yard area, as defined in section 13.04.040 to six feet (6′).





On Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:30 am  a copy of the foregoing notice was posted in conspicuous view in the front foyer of the Holladay City Hall, Holladay, Utah.  A copy of this notice was emailed to the Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, newspapers of general circulation in the City by the Office of the City Recorder.  A copy was also emailed to the Salt Lake County Council, Cottonwood Heights City and Murray. The agenda was also posted at City Hall, Holladay Library, City internet website at and state noticing website at
