City Council Public Hearing – May 4

April 21, 2017

The Holladay City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 4, 2017, as close to 6:00 pm as possible,  in the Council Chambers, 4580 S 2300 E, Holladay UT.  

The purpose of the hearing is to consider a proposed Small Area Master Plan (SAMP) for the Highland Drive/Van Winkle/6200 South area of Holladay.  This SAMP addresses the future of traffic circulation and safety, land use, economic development, etc., in this area of Holladay as part of the City’s General Plan

The City of Holladay has immediate openings in the Justice Court, Parks Department and Arts Council: 

Full-time Deputy Court Clerk. This position performs a variety of working level complex clerical duties designed to expedite the functions, actions, judgments, processes and procedures associated with the City Justice Court.

Parks Department is looking for motivated people to join our maintenance team for the up-coming summer season

Part-time Arts Council Executive Director – The City of Holladay is currently accepting applications for a part-time Executive Director for the Arts Council. Holladay Arts Council provides access to the arts for all residents of Holladay and the surrounding area. This position supports and assists the Arts Council Board and acts as a liaison between the Arts Council, City, Salt Lake County and the community.

The City of Holladay is requesting bids from qualified, licensed, professional firms to provide design and construction services for the KNUDSEN PARK DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT.

Area Clean Up – May

April 6, 2017

 The Annual Area Cleanup program begins soon. Holladay residents can expect to see Area Cleanup containers at the beginning of May. Residents will receive a postcard in the mail identifying the exact date that the containers will be in their neighborhoods. Residents can also use WFWRD’s Address Lookup Tool at https://slco.org/wfw/ to find their specific scheduled date. Additional information about the program can be found on WFWRD’s website at http://wasatchfrontwaste.org/area-cleanup.

UDOT 4500 S Construction
